The Culinary Center of Kansas City® is a premiere culinary arts center with a unique business model dedicated to the education, cultivation and appreciation of food, wine and culinary tradition through over 600 cooking classes each year, over 200 interactive cooking parties and private events each year  and a unique Kitchen Shop™ curated with unique culinary tools and gifts. For over 20 years we have made it our mission to provide exceptional experiences that explore the magic that happens when people gather around the table and in the kitchen.  We invite culinarians of all skill levels to join us in our celebration of the culinary arts.

Whether you are a novice in the kitchen, just want to be a better cook, or desire to entertain your guests with a unique experience in a transportive venue, our mission is to consistently exceed each customers’ expectation in all that we do.   We believe that it is important to take the mystery out of cooking and provide you with the highest quality cooking instruction and entertainment experience possible in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.  Our staff and instructors step in front of you with deep experience, passion for cooking and exceptional skills.

Situated in the uniquely walk-able and historic community of Downtown Overland Park, Kansas, in a beautifully restored 6,500 square foot turn-of-the-century buggy barn, our space can best be described as transportive and as “Napa Valley, Tuscany, Colorado and home, all rolled into one!”  It is comprised of two teaching kitchens and event spaces – our larger Tuscan Kitchen and our smaller  Santa Fe Kitchen.  In addition we offer a third event space known as our Sonoma Kitchen as well as a Kitchen Shop open to the public.
