The Old Mango

Welcome! The Old Mango is a locally grown Home Décor, Garden & Interior Design Studio serving our home community of Johnson County. My name is Courtney, a nurse for 24 years who went to design school in 2000 as my creative outlet. You will often see my husband, Trevor in the shop or he may be the guy who delivers that perfect piece to your home. Together we have made The Old Mango our home away from home. Stop in so I can share more of our family’s story and this leap of faith that is now The Old Mango.

As we looked for the perfect home for The Old Mango, we couldn’t see ourselves anywhere other than Downtown Overland Park. We waited patiently to find the perfect location. We had already waited over 20 years to make this dream come true, so location was so important to us.

Our mission is always evolving and growing with the store but many key elements will never change.

We pride ourselves at providing sustainable, ethical pieces to last a lifetime and to be shared throughout generations. Each piece sharing a story for your home…
We believe a home is where we create our safe haven, where we grow relationships with family, friends and our community. Home helps us remember who we are and where we are going. Home is a place where our soul finds comfort, where the objects we surround ourself with remind of our most authentic self, bring us joy, make us feel comfort and sometimes simply makes us smile. Home is also a place to find center, a place of reminiscence & a place to become inspired. Home is the base where all other begins.
