Figure Drawing Summer Classes

This class is for adults and older teens (ie: high school juniors and seniors or other advanced students) with parental permission. I will cover the basics of gesture drawing, various ways of measuring and understanding proportions, some anatomy and structure of the body, and a lot of emphasis on development of values in shading. Work will be done in charcoal on white and toned paper. Class Dates: July 22nd, 29th & August 5th, 12th Class Time: 6-8pm Fee: $140 Ages: 16+ (with guardian permission)

Know a budding young artist who is out of school for the summer and looking to improve their art? We are excited to offer two series of 4 week long arts classes for teens this summer, with wonderfully talented artist and educator Lacey Lewis. We will use still lives and photographs to explore line, shape, composition, and value. Emphasis will be on creating realistic images with a sense of form and depth.
