There are a lot of exciting changes coming your way in Downtown OP! Two new mixed-used developments are currently under construction; InterUrban Lofts opened its doors to residents in the spring and Avenue 80 in the fall. Two new proposed projects are currently being reviewed by the City of Overland Park. We are so looking forward to welcoming so many new businesses and residents to Downtown Overland Park!

InterUrban Lofts | NOW OPEN!

InterUrban Lofts is a mixed-use property located just 1.5 blocks from the historic center of Downtown Overland Park on the corner of 79th and Conser. Avenue 80 | NOW OPEN!

Located at the corner of 80th and Metcalf, Avenue 80 is a mixed-use development compromised of 220 luxury apartments and totaling 273,483 square feet of apartments, office and retail space. With a large parking garage, interior courtyard and 5th floor clubhouse with exercise equipment all within walking distance to Downtown Overland Park shops, restaurants and the Overland Park Farmers' Market, Avenue 80 promises to be great place for new residents call home.

Market Lofts | Estimated Completion: Mid-2018

Work continues on Market Lofts, a $10.8 million mixed-use development in the heart of Downtown Overland Park on the corner of 80th and Marty. The 36-unit apartment building will be a blend of one- and two-bedroom apartments above over 5,500 square feet of retail space and a secured 43-space underground garage.

The Vue | Estimated Completion: Late 2018

Following April 2017's groundbreaking ceremony, construction has been ongoing at The Vue, a 219-unit luxury apartment complex that will include 10,000 square feet of retail, an attached 324-space parking garage, a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center and indoor and outdoor entertainment areas. Located in the heart of Downtown Overland Park at the corner of 80th and Marty, The Vue will come with walkable access to all of Downtown's restaurants, shops and amenities.

Avenue 81 | Commencing Construction Winter 2017

Avenue 81 is a mixed-use development located just south of Avenue 80 on Metcalf Avenue. This project features 105 independent living units, 45 assisted living units, 1 guest until and 11,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. This will be Overland Park's first Class A high-density mixed-use Senior Living  project containing best-in-class architecture, industry leading amenities and a significant amount of common area for residents.

Edison OP | Pending

Edison OP Rendering

Plans have been submitted to the City of Overland Park for a new five-story, 125,000-square-foot mixed-use building on 80th Street between Marty Street and Overland Park Drive. The project also calls for a four-level parking garage and a two-story, 10,950-square-foot Food Lab Building.

The Planning Commission approved this item on 12/11/17 by a vote of 9-0. The Certificate of Conformity will go before City Council on Monday, 1/22/18, at City Hall. For more information on this project, click here to learn more on the City of Overland Park's ePlace site.


82 Metcalf | Pending

82 Metcalf Rendering

EPC Real Estate, which is behind the Avenue 80 and Avenue 81 projects along Metcalf, last week submitted plans for a new, four-story office building for the northeast corner of 82nd Street and Metcalf Avenue.

As currently scheduled, the development plan will first go before the Overland Park Planning Commission at its March 12 meeting.

The proposed building would have 58,500 square feet of office space. Learn more here.
