Local Ice Cream Social

The Overland Park Farmers’ Market is hosting their final evening Market of the summer season, partnering with Shatto Milk Company for a Local Ice Cream Social event at the Market. In addition to the Local Ice Cream Social, OP Farmers’ Market vendors will offer a wide variety of local farm-fresh produce, artisan products and specialty goods for sale. The 54th annual Fall Festival and Parade is set for Saturday, September 27; and it’s not too early to register. There is no cost to participate, and everyone is welcome. Let’s make this the biggest one ever! Frock Boutique relocates to Downtown Overland Park

Frock Boutique, located at 7915 Santa Fe Drive, is the newest addition to the Downtown Overland Park community. The new shop was recently featured in a 913 Kansas City Star article written by Joyce Smith. In the article, new owner Lisa Demaree has this to say about the area: ““It’s such an up-and-coming area. Wednesday Farmers’ Markets are now open

The 2014 OP Farmers’ Market will be open every Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 22, and Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning May 21. The Market is located under the pavilion on Marty Street, between 79th and 80th streets, in Downtown Overland Park.
