Popculture Gourmet Popcorn opened in 2017, offering a new standard of gourmet popcorn in Kansas City.
Hard scoop ice cream was added in 2018.
Then, in 2019, a simple business listing caught the eye of an award-winning Chef.
Justin and Melody Woo purchased Popculture in November 2019 with confidence in the product and an unabashed optimism in it’s potential. The second location opened in August 2020.

We handcraft gourmet popcorn in over 60 flavors, including vegan, gluten-free, and dye-free options. All of our popcorn is made from a non-gmo seed grown in the Midwest (popcorn, specifically, is one of the last non-gmo crops around).
We also have 16-20 rotating flavors of hard-scoop ice cream and milkshakes every day, with program enhancements coming soon!
