The mission of the Overland Park Historical Society is to collect, preserve, research, exhibit, and educate the public about the history of the region of Overland Park, Kansas and the surrounding area from prehistoric times to the present.

A walking tour of Downtown Overland Park is offered from May through October usually in the morning hours. Stops at some of the businesses are included and the guide will explain some of the city’s history. Please call 913-381-8867 for reservations.
